Camp Description

Does your child enjoy solving problems on their own and finding creative solutions? Do they have an interest in technology and games? If so, then learning how to create and code programs will allow them to test and improve these skills.

Each day students will be introduced to new tools to build ever more exciting and engaging applications and games. Working both solo and in teams, students will apply these tools both on the computer and offline in different problem solving coding challenges and algorithm based games.

Grades

3rd - 5th

Using gaming projects, young coders are introduced to HTML and JavaScript language. Curious programmers learn what components make a website interactive and understand some key elements needed to build a web page.

6th - 8th

Students add on essential coding skills to their programming tool-kit. Exciting web development projects and challenging gaming activities are all the rage in this fun week of HTML and JavaScript coding camp.

Optional Extended Day (until 4:00 pm) - add. $20/day or $100/week

Optional Lunch Food - add. $25/week

Requirements

Some coding experience recommended but not required, as well as moderate typing capabilities.
